• Leckmelm Shrubbery and Arboretum (3m South)

Leckmelm gardens are a short drive about 3 miles south of Ullapool. The entrance is very inviting with a lovely brick wall (some might find the entrance and exit arch a bit tight), there is parking for cars but not suitable for coaches. There are no toilets at the gardens so make sure you go before you go ;-). Dogs are allowed but have to be kept on a lead. If you are in to your flowers and plants there is a good review which can be found here.

Featuring some magnificent trees – including a fabulous spreading beech – and a magnificent variety of shrubs Leckmelm is smaller than Inverewe gardens and well worth a visit.
